Airfreight is often chosen for faster delivery or in case of valuable consignments. Sometimes airfreight can even be more economical than seafreight for specific destinations and when consignments are small.

Documentation and Packing

Goods can be made airfreight-ready and professionally packed by DPA. When dangerous goods (e.g. batteries in electric equipment) are involved, this has to be communicated with us for investigation prior to delivery. When accepted by airline, probably special documentation and packing will be required.

Transport to airport

Airfreight often departs from Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) or Brussels (BRU). We can arrange collection from your place, transport and delivery to airport.
Instructions for delivery up to DPA warehouse
  • Packinglist/invoice required upon delivery, preferably in Excel and by email.
  • When dangerous goods are involved (e.g. oilpaint, electronic equipment) a MSDS form is required in order to investigate conditions to enable shipment.
